All American Fourth

I don't know about you, but nothing says Fourth of July like Old Glory, hot dogs, family, and baseball.

It's especially exciting when you're nine and you get loaded up with Big League Baseballs at batting practice! Certainly helps to be fans of the visiting team.

Now that's a beautiful flag!

Wonder if anything was lost in translation?
Orioles pitcher Chen from Taiwan and Mariners Right Fielder Ichiro from Japan.

By the way, I thought it was pretty interesting to watch one of the coaches hit balls out to Ichiro one after another. Once he was finished, he walked over to the in field and ceremoniously bowed showing his respect and gratitude. You don't see that every day.

At the second game, the kids got autographs by several players, and during the game Adams threw a ball directly to Eric (wearing an O's jersey of course) after one of the innings.

Fist pound for Jake!

So proud of our great country!

The WWII vets brought tears to my eyes.

Play Ball!
